Is tuition included in the visa financial requirement?
No — tuition and maintenance requirements are calculated separately. For a Student visa you must show: (1) payment of the first year's tuition or proof it is covered, plus (2) maintenance funds — £1,483/month × 9 for London, or £1,136 × 9 outside London.
Can scholarships reduce my costs?
Yes. Chevening (2027–28 cycle opens 5 August 2026) — full scholarship covering tuition and living costs. IsDB (Islamic Development Bank) — open to nationals of Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. University merit awards — many institutions offer partial scholarships. Commonwealth Scholarship — not available to Central Asian countries.
