Find a GP near you
Enter your postcode — we will show nearby GPs with ratings. You can call, register online or see them on a map.
How to register with a GP
- Find a GP above by postcode — choose the nearest one with a good rating
- Click 📝 — this opens the NHS online registration form. Fill it in 5 minutes
- Or visit in person — ask for a registration form (GMS1). A passport is helpful but NOT required
- Done in 1–2 days — after registration you can book appointments
A GP cannot refuse you because you have no proof of address, visa or passport. If they refuse, call NHS England: 0300 311 2233.
Why register with a GP?
A GP is the key to all healthcare in the UK. Without GP registration you cannot see a specialist, get a prescription or have tests. Register in your first week, even if you are healthy.
What if the GP is far away?
Many GPs accept patients "out of area" — outside their local area. Try to register online using the 📝 button. If they refuse, try the next GP on the list.
Need an interpreter?
A GP must provide a free interpreter. When you book, say: "I need an interpreter for Russian" (or another language). The interpreter joins by phone or video during your appointment.
