In 2025, 17 116 people received visas — 15% fewer than the year before. The largest category is other: 89% of the flow.
How to read this
We count people — main applicants together with dependants, across four visa groups. Visitors are excluded. 2026 is Q1 only.

Why "Other" is so large. Since 2022 this has meant humanitarian schemes — the Ukraine Scheme and family permits. It is not labour migration: in the seasonal scheme, Ukraine has fallen to 530 visas a year.
